Small Shops. Big Stories.

Our Canadian small-business story

Dakkeh began in 2024 with a simple idea: make it easier to find familiar groceries and shop for them online. That beginning opened the door to a bigger purpose—helping small businesses connect with more customers while keeping their individual stories and identities.

Today, Dakkeh is growing beyond groceries into an online platform for independent stores, bakeries, brands and makers. From everyday essentials to accessories and home decor, we bring different shops together in one place for customers to discover.

Small businesses. A meaningful place in our communities.

Behind a small business are people who choose the products, practise the craft and care about the details. These businesses bring character to Canadian neighbourhoods. Dakkeh gives them another way to be found and gives shoppers a convenient way to explore what they offer.

How shopping on Dakkeh works

Choose a store, browse its products and place your order. Each vendor has its own collection, shipping methods and delivery areas. One cart contains products from one vendor: complete checkout before starting a separate order with another store.

Your available shipping options and costs appear at checkout after you enter your delivery address. Learn more about delivery or explore the stores on Dakkeh.

Rooted in Montreal. Supporting Canadian small business.

We are building Dakkeh around a straightforward belief: small businesses deserve to be seen. Our goal is to make discovering independent stores feel simple, welcoming and personal—whether you are looking for a familiar favourite or something new.
